Barestrip respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all sellers, users, and content contributors to do the same. This DMCA Copyright Policy explains how Barestrip responds to claims of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

2) Platform Role & Marketplace Context

Barestrip operates as an online marketplace platform. Independent sellers upload designs and content for use on made-to-order products. Barestrip does not pre-screen every design for potential copyright infringement. However, upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, Barestrip acts promptly to investigate and take appropriate action.

3) Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Takedown Notice)

If you believe that content available on Barestrip infringes your copyrighted work, you may submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated contact. Your notice must include all of the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
• Identification of the infringing material, including the specific URL(s) on Barestrip
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized

5) Counter-Notification Procedure

If you are a seller or user and believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:

• A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was due to mistake or misidentification
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of a U.S. federal court

6) Repeat Infringer Policy

Barestrip maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of sellers or users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers. Account termination may occur without prior notice.

7) False or Abusive Claims

Submitting false or misleading DMCA notices or counter-notifications may result in legal liability. Barestrip reserves the right to take action against parties who abuse the DMCA process.

8) Modifications to This Policy

Barestrip may update this DMCA Copyright Policy from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or compliance changes. Updates will be posted on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date.
